The Davis Housing Services coordinate holiday exchanges for international students with American families of students, faculty, staff and alumni.

In the Fall and Winter, international students are paired with families for the Halloween and Thanksgiving dinner holiday where students can:

• "Trick or Treat" in the Davis tradition Halloween in October
• Experience a delicious traditional Thanksgiving dinner in November

In the Spring, students are matched with families who celebrate the Easter or Passover holidays and invite international students to join them in their family meals and festivals!

• Annual UC Davis PICNIC DAY in April
• Annual Whole Earth Festival in May

In the Summer, students are matched with families who celebrate the Independence Day, and invite international students to join them in their family summber BBQ and parties!

• Professional Bicyling Races in Davis tradition in July
• Visit U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame
• Celebrate Independence day with fireworks and parties in July
• Experience a delicious traditional summer BBQs, lemonade, and apple pies.
