Davis Housing Services is a comprehensive local homestay placement agency for UC Davis and International Center. We are located in the heart of the downtown City of Davis, California.  Our homestay services are for international students.

We are engineers, medical physician, web designers, homemakers, writers, and small business owners, etc. with many unique experiences and backgrounds.  We are also Certified Residential Specialists (CRS), real estates agents, and real estates brokers that are fully licensed and insured to operate and handle many forms of residential leases, contracts, agreements, and transactions in the State of California.

With years of experience in working with international programs, we apply personal attention, professionalism, excellent service to provide international students with a firsthand experience in American multi-cultural  living environment and immersion to English and Davis traditions.

COVID Policy

This COVID policy applies to everyone in homestay including Davis Housing Services staff, host families, and students. DHS staff, host families, and students of age for receiving COVID vaccinations are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID including related boosters in order to participate in homestay.

·Students who receive COVID vaccinations less than 14 days prior to arrival in Davis, CA, and have shown proof of vaccination to DHS, must self-sequester at student’s own expense until proof of a negative COVID test result is also shown to DHS (generally 1 – 4 days).          

·After entering homestay, students are required to complete any and all vaccine booster doses if applicable

·During homestay, if either host family or student tests positive for COVID:

o   If host family member tests positive for COVID, student must wear mask while in shared rooms of the home, and eat meals separately from family until all test negative for COVID

o   If student tests positive for COVID, student must self-isolate within bedroom, wear face mask in shared spaces, and eat meals separately from family until tests show student is negative for COVID

·Host families and students agree to participate in homestay at their own risk and liability, and agree to hold harmless and release all liabilities of Davis Housing Services concerning issues related to COVID, Influenza, and other common illnesses.
