Each week, Davis Housing Service hosts Fun Friday events for international students. All international students are welcome to attend! Our events and activities are designed to educate and entertain students to the attributes of American culture and other international cultures as well!

Events are typically held on Friday afternoon in the various locations and include trivia contests, scavenger hunts, holiday parties, coffee hours, movies and MORE! Some of our off-campus activities include trips (like NBA Basketball Kings), the art museum, and historic biking tours.

Most events are FREE to all international students, other events offer student discounts on tickets or admission!

We encourage students to create and host International Fun Friday events themselves. Any student interested in displaying their culture for an International Fun Friday should please email Davis Housing Services.

Use this as a valuable opportunity to show off your cultures' native clothing, food, dances, games, and history with other students!

The Davis Housing Services want to give students an opportunity to enjoy and learn about different aspects of different cultures that they truly have an interest in. We are always looking for creative ideas that are going to appeal to you! If you think that you have a fun and exciting way to educate and entertain students on the unique attributes of your own culture, then volunteer to host a Fun Friday yourself! If selected to host an International Fun Friday, the Davis Housing Services will provide our assistance in planning your event and will happily help make it a success in anyway we can!
