Davis Housing Services

Through the UC Davis and Davis Housing Services Study Abroad Consortium, host familes may apply to participate in a two week reciprical exchange with partner universities in Japan, Korea, China, France, and Italy.

In this program, participants host an international visitor in their home for two weeks. Applicants are expected to have a guest room or otherwise appropriate facilities for hosting an international visitor. The same international visitor would, in exchange, host participants in their homes abroad. 

Participants are expected to absorb all costs related to meals, mileage and activities related to hosting the international visitor, and that visitor will do the same during the reciprocal visit.
